The Role

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Hotel Operations Manager to oversee the opening and operations of this exclusive boutique hotel. This hands-on leadership position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in luxury hospitality and boutique hotel openings.

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up all operational systems, policies, procedures, and recruitment, ensuring a seamless launch. Post-opening, the role will focus on overseeing operations, driving revenue, and maintaining the exceptional standards expected of a luxury hotel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the hotel’s opening, setting up systems (PMS), policies, and procedures to ensure a smooth launch.
• Build, train, and inspire a high-performing team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Oversee all operational aspects of the hotel, ensuring efficiency and excellence in service delivery.
• Drive revenue growth and optimize financial performance while maintaining the hotel’s premium positioning.
• Ensure the hotel meets and exceeds the standards required for Small Luxury Hotels of the World.
• Manage supplier relationships and oversee procurement for all operational needs.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-energy team culture that reflects the brand’s values.

About You

• At least 5 years of leadership experience in luxury boutique hotels, including hands-on hotel opening experience.
• Proven track record in building, managing, and leading high-performing teams.
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences in a premium setting.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive revenue, control costs, and optimise operations.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a strong understanding of the luxury hospitality sector.
