Job Description
We are seeking self-motivated CASUAL FARM HAND AND EGG PROCESSING team members in Cooranbong, in the Lake Macquarie area of NSW (located between Sydney and Newcastle).
The work will require you to have fast hands and be standing on your feet majority of your shift.
Main duties will include:
- processing eggs with egg packing machine
- floor walking
- walking chicken sheds to pick up eggs
- repetitive and physical work
- monitoring chicken health
- on your feet majority of your shift
- bending and picking up chickens up to 7kg
To be considered you must:
-have current driver's licence and reliable transport due to remote farm location
-do NOT own any poultry, birds and pigs
-strong safety focuses and quarantine awareness
-good time management, be punctual and hard working
-ability to work well in a team
-positive attitude and good work ethic
-must be reliable
You will be paid under the Pastoral Award 2010 as a casual employee.
