About Taigum Tavern:
Officially opened by Alderman Denise Herbert on 26th May 1993, Taigum Tavern has fast become a true local for the people in the area. We are located 16 kilometres north of Brisbane, nestled across from Taigum Square shopping centre.
Our small but cosy bistro has seating for 30 people inside and 24 seats outside in our alfresco dinning area.

What will you bring to the table?
Proven expertise as Head Chef
Proficiency in menu costing and ability to control and minimize wastage
Constructing menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety and quality of the servings
Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes
Strong understanding of rostering and costing
Implement and manage stock control, ordering, and checking of deliveries
Good knowledge of computer programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
Ability to produce high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment
A commitment to achieving outstanding sales results
Ability to engage with the local community
