About the role
Outer Space Removals are looking for a customer-committed, outcome-orientated Operations Manager to join and lead our team.
Our company provides a high-quality service to our customer’s needs, this opportunity requires someone with business knowledge who wants to help us and grow with us.
Skills and Experience:
- Supervision skill
- cost control
- Fleet management
- Organisational skills
- Tentative attention to detail.
- Communication skills (written and verbal) - not only to our staff but with customers and potential prospects.
- Capability to work from home autonomously.
- Previous experience and knowledge of Removals and Storage industry is desired, but not required.
- Provide planning and scheduling support to removalists, ensuring any day-to-day task operates effectively and efficiently as possible.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Predict and maintain driver roster arrangements.
- Check and assign jobs in the system.
- Pre-calling customers who have booked with Outer Space Removals.
- Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously.
- Liaising with customers over the phone in regards to any inquiries they may have about their job.
- Communicating with the teams on field including assigning them their jobs and keeping in contact with them throughout their workday.
- Look and offer jobs in platforms and apps.
- Other projects such as contact possible future leads and customers.
