Ferry Road Tavern is searching for a hands-on and dedicated Sous Chef to help lead the kitchen team.
The Ferry Road Tavern has been newly renovated and offers only the best when it comes to racing, punting, sporting and gaming. We also offer a great pub menu with casual dining and a private function room that can cater to any occasion. What will you bring to the table?
Proven experience in a Sous Chef role
Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop, support, and mentor the team
Implement and manage stock control, ordering, and checking of deliveries
Provide high quality meals in a fast-paced environment
Ability to order and maintain stock, including delivery checks
Strong compliance focus
Ability to take direction well from the Head Chef
Ability to engage with the local community
