General stable hand and polo groom required for immediate start.
- Upkeep of stables and farm
- Feeding of horses
- Working polo horses (riding)
- Tacking up both pro and client horses at chukkas and tournaments
- Loading horses on trucks
- Cleaning riding gear
- Gardening and mowing around stables
- Driving and towing trailer (when required)
Applicants must be confident around horses and have had ample experience riding. All polo related tasks can be learnt on the job.
Applicants must have a very positive attitude towards work and travel as we will spend considerable time on the road travelling up and down the east coast supplying horses to Australia’s biggest exhibition style polo matches throughout the summer.
Our next trip is in September with 3 weeks away in Qld.
Applicants MUST be able to work autonomously. We expect all employees to do there day to day tasks without having to be chased and micro-managed. Obviously we will however provide allot of support for polo specific tasks.
Applicants must be well presented as we are client facing most days, work apparel provided.
Renumeration based on experience. Onsite accomodation and car provided. 5.5 days work a week.
Accom - shared 3 bedroom house at stables. One person per room.
